Caring for the living and the dead through
the Coronavirus pandemic.
Losing a loved one is a heart wrenching time for anyone.
As human beings we have a deep need to care for our dead. We need time and space to grieve. We need the love and support of each other. In times of loss - a personal and relevant funeral experience can a great comfort.
This is why the Government have singled funerals out in their latest guidelines.
We will do all we can to care for you, your family and your loved one through this difficult time – as well as to keep us all safe.

Funerals are continuing to be impacted by the social distancing guidelines from Public Health England.
Essentially, attendance at funerals should be limited to immediate family members in single figures, as follows:
The guidelines from each Crematorium and Church are as follows:
Glynn Valley Crematorium – 10 mourners.
Penmount Crematorium – No fixed number
but those attending is restricted to
Children (and partners)
And social distancing must be adhered to.
Church of England – closed for public worship. Funerals with attendance of less than 10 people can go ahead in church, at the crematorium or graveside. No Hymns are to be sung in the Crematorium.
Roman Catholic Church – services at the graveside or crematorium only with single figure attendance.
Methodist Church – closed for public worship.
If a member of your immediate family as defined above is travelling to attend a funeral and requires Proof of Essential Travel, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be pleased to provide you with proof on our headed paper.
